Another celebrity down

Billy Mays, the 500-horse power voice and television pitchman was found dead today.

For infomercial fans, this is right up there with Michael Jackson. I'm sure my stepdaughter, who loves infomercials is in mourning.

What is going on?! Gayle Storm (My Little Margie, you probably remember that show, I don't) died too. Probably from the heat out there!

Just because you came along 13 years after me (and you were always Mom's favorite) is no reason to assume I know every ancient television celebrity.

Of course, I do remember her. It was a great show. But that still doesn't mean I'm old.

Billy Mays -- heart disease.

Don't forget Gale Storm also starred in "The Gale Storm Show," which was syndicated as "Oh! Susanna." Both shows originally aired in the '50s and were syndicated staples throughout the '60s.

Oh, for sure. I'll put a little something up about her soon. If I recall, The Gale Storm Show was a little like an early love boat, was it not?

Thanks for the reminder. I guess celebrity deaths now come in fives.
