Rumor true, Addisen visits fall party

When we plan our fall party we hope and pray for the perfect night. Cool, but not cold; no rain; no bugs; and no wind. It's a lot to ask in a climate where one or both of those negative conditions are really present.

Last night everything was perfect for a traditional fall party. Even better, little Addisen showed up and wowed the guests and, as always, grandma and grandpa. She is the light of our lives and we see God in her face (sometimes a little of the other in her actions, but we don't dwell on that). This is her first appearance at our fall party, but certainly not her last.

The colors are starting to change (a little late so we're hoping that means a milder winter) but we had fun making smores by the fire, but mostly fun laughing, talking and enjoying our company.

Most of the folks were Anglican, but the kids are from a non-denominational church and our best friends, both Roman Catholics, were on had to make it an ecumenical evening. And my wife served some really good food.

I've attached a couple photos. Next year, come and join us.
