Today there were several news stories about a new study that will be done in Boston on the brains of National Football League players.
The reporter added the following: "But only after they are dead."
Thank goodness for that.

After listening to interviews with some of the pro and college players, I think they are already brain dead.
Jan, ouch! But some of those interviews are painful.
I agree with Jan. I was going to respond with "Does it really matter?" but she beat me to it.
