I bet Newhouse would have paid $100,000 for that idea. There's lots of extra money floating around N.Y. now that they're paying reporters Wal-Mart wages.
I have owned a business in Ann Arbor for almost 20 years. I have NEVER thought of an acorn as any kind of a symbol of A2. What the heck? There are a lot of OAK TREES? Really? I'm baffled. Sounds like an out of towner trying to play off "Arbor" and trees, but has never set foot here.

Love it! Did not know you did graphic design in your spare time. You need to send them a "NY Design Firm" size invoice.

Pam is right! Do it.
Are you nuts?
Is this your market research?
Did you do this work in New York (er, Buffalo?)

No, I whipped this up as a joke last night while watching the 6 p.m. news.
It's at least as good as the high-priced New York outfit's effort.
I actually hate the whole idea of an acorn as a logo.
