An apology and a half

Regrettheerror.com has printed a doosie (or should it be doozie) of an error from the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Many of the newspapers corrections published on that site go into extensive detail not on just the error, but how it was made and whether editors or bad information contributed to the error.
