A trip to Shadowbrook

For a treat I took Joan to the Shadowbrook Restaurant in Capitola last night. It was a place I used to go many, many years ago and always had a good reputation for good food and atmosphere.

You take a little cable car down to the restaurant and even though it was raining last night it was still a beautiful sight.

Luckily we hit the place on a night when the seafood entrees were all $15.95 (they are usually $27-$30) and everything is ala carte. So it didn't break the bank either.
If you take the virtual photo tour on the Shadowbrook website you'll see more photos. (We ate in the Greenhouse Room).

It's a great place and if you ever get to this area of California, put it on your dinner list.
