Ouch.
Way too true.
The same managers who got newspapers to this impasse are STILL IN PLACE.
They never grasped the fact that they were NEWS OUTLETS not ink jet printers.
They never promoted, with real power and authority, the people that grasped the future. They promoted, and gave power to, the people MOST LIKE THEM.
They BOUGHT OUT the people who understood the new world order, those who questioned giving away the farm for free via some fricking subsidiary.
Sorry to shout. I get passionate about this.
Newspapers are the only outlets to break the difficult, complex stories or wrongdoing and corruption.
When they die, we will ALL regret it.
