Pitts' rosy depiction of ACORN notwithstanding, I liked a lot of what he had to say. Journalism is very hard work, and lots of us put in long hours doing it. Citizen journalism makes it to be a joke, something anyone can do. Well, not everyone can write at a professional level, just like not everybody can listen to a troubled engine, diagnose, take it apart and repair it.

Leonard Pitts has a naive view of ACORN, doesn't he? Other than that, I areed with a lot of what he said.
