In the newspaper bizarro world here is the New York Times story on the New York Times Co.'s concession demands by its Boston Globe property.

Nothing quite says "out-of-touch union" like Guild members telling The Times managers that certain work rule changes are non-starters in Boston. Memo to Guild: You have no bargaining power. Go on strike ... and manangement will do a conga line around the boardroom.
