Not a bad sports weekend here. Spartans rolled over Northwestern and are now 6-1 and bowl eligible already. My new team, the Buffalo Bills, had a bye week so we watched the Lions play Minnesota today.
Actually, the Lions defense looked pretty good. A couple horrible calls by the referees likely stole any chance the Lions had of pulling off a miracle victory, but give them credit for not just rolling up and dying.
Next week the MSU Spartans face a real test, the Ohio State University Buckeyes, so we'll get a better idea of how good, or not good, they really are.
