Well, I just returned from Traverse City (wow, were the colors even more stunning than usual) and so blogging will resume - tomorrow.

I made it back to Michigan (and Indiana) to visit family and friends and take in two Spartan games (Indiana and Iowa). I'm trying to get back for a week or so each fall, so maybe we can touch base next football season -- or, dare I say, at a Rose Bowl (why not dream?) out here. Thanks for stopping by. You, my friend, could never be a bad editor. First of all, because you once worked for me when I was, gasp, an editor and second you had more editorial talent in college than my latest bunch had at age 50.
Your Saturday assignments I would be proud to take.
I'll be coming to California in January or February and will be near you (Danville) for at least part of the time. We'll get together then and again last month.
I went to a Spartan game earlier this year (Florida Atlantic) so at least we both saw winners.
Please keep in touch and let's make sure we connect in 2009.
