The anatomy of a story and how it went wrong under the "new" journalism

This is an interesting story on how the Washington Post quietly edited and corrected a major story without any correction.

    Any idea why this story was pulled after it had been posted? The writer posts on his blog site that "technical" problems were being addressed. But maybe it's because they ran an unsubstantiated story. Note the accuser "admits he never directly witnessed any acts of prostitution"
